this is something neat i was thinking of in my head!

i was thinking..... wouldnt it be neato if there were even a few variations of the weapons models?

meaning, say you start with a gun, and it has a certain serial number u can see etc.... but while it might be in good condition..... then u might have to ditch it for whatever reason and scavenge a gun from a comrade.... well it would be pretty good if this gun u just picked up, had a chip in the stock... or maybe the sightpeice was a little dented... or sumthing! you know what i mean?

damn, when i get excited i ramble on..

but that would add alot of immersion, to see that all the guns are right out the factory door, because im sure in the war many of the draftess sometimes had guns that didnt even fire!

so....... take it or flame it

flame it...seriously though, It could be ok. Also, if you get really close to an enemy it would be cool if you could smash the butt of your rifle into his face, also if their was an explosion next to you and the rifle gets showered with mud, it'd be cool if it would stay on the gun.

well.... solidus... u might have hit on a VERY valid point

as we may all recall.... the opening scene and storming of Omaha beach.... many of the units were told to wrap there rifles in plastic to keep out the water and dirt...

well..... now you said condom, it is in a way is it not?

i would like to see "condoms" on the rifles of a few riflemen at the start of the invasion.... you know, makes it real nice then
