GUYS........

Hey, I am the last person you have to point out to
that having a web site up like this cost money. You
have SO MANY POP-UPS that you irritate the crap out
of every visitor so they wont click on something that
even interests them

This is a proven advertising fact on web sites

To many pop-ups kill your click through percentages greatly

You would be better off running this site in frames and
placing a single ad box at the top with a rotating ad
in the center of the frame and various text links
on both sides. MORE people will see the ads
you will get MORE click throughs $$$$$ and visitors
will quit complaining about pop-ups

Pop-ups have a very low click through ratio--- its FACT

Why dont you add some type of paid "Premier Member"
status, where members can pay some small fee (3 month increments)
and offer these members some added feature??????????

OK - enough of that rant

GREAT SITE - Thanks for getting it up again

I have pop-up stopper pro.

It's the best. Never have a problem and you can even choose to have a sound played when pop-ups are stopped. You can also see a list of the pop-ups that were stopped incase you missed something that interested you.

it's the business!!!

Could a pop-up ad stopper work for AOL aswell? I'm sick of pop-up ads.

i know of another site with pop ups or pop unders really, and they say that they don't mind that much if you don't click them because $$ is generated by them just popping...

i don't mind them much, as long as the forum is up and fast enough to be able to post i'm happy...

Get webwasher http://www.webwasher.com ... kills pop-up's, ad-images from 3rd party servers, cookies (if u want), web-bugs, scripts, hidden layers, forms and frames ad nauseum. Works like a charm on this site. It also wipes out flash animations if you configure it. As another bonus is also acts as a proxy server for machines on your LAN.
