Default hmmm whats up with the aa.com server - 09-09-2002, 07:27 PM

I have been away a lot, not on line. I tried to get on using ASE and found the ping listed at 9999

Then I found out the address was different than the one I had in there.

So I changed it to 65.214.59.132:12203

But it still times out, and still says 9999 and shows no names in the server, even though it says there are 8 guys in there.

I would hate to think my PC or cable connection or whatever will prevent me from playing at aa.com's server.

Please advise.

I have emailed wintersforge. Someone replaced his old sig with a new one.

I think someone was up to know good, a couple of other regulars have been hit.

I've been having ping probs too. I don't know what's up all the sudden except that there were no problems with the previous server. I did notice, though, that I was having probs with DOA's server as well. I think the only thing I've left to do is switch to DSL since nothing else seems to have fixed it.

BTW, I'm in MA and currently have cable. Until recently there were no issues. But there is one thing of note you all might be interested in. About a month ago I read a news article regarding Cable Co's fighting file-sharing with bandwidth limitations and my provider was one of those working on that fight. If I can locate the article I'll post it here, but it's something to consider if you're having issues with cable.
