Will BattleField 1942 Claim title of worlds best WW2 game -
09-10-2002, 10:45 AM
Well if mohaa doesnt pull anything good on their upcoming expansion set for mohaa then battlefield 1942 will claim the title of worlds best WW2 game. But the difference between them is that mohaa is like half fighting big wars and half cover ops. IN BF1942 you fight along side of an army with tanks you can get into planes, Battleships, submarins, jeeps, aa guns and 35 other vehicles and a hole bunch of weapons, ill finish this later, give your opion

Well im not just saying worlds best im saying who will prevail in a battle between MOHAA and BT1942 Half people thing mohaa is gonna win if their expansion pulls somethin good. Others say the BT1942 will prevail since you can ride any vehicle you see and its not cover ops plus theres like diffrent forces like japan Britain and others. Im not braggen on MOHAA im One question roles through my mind. WHO will win in an ongoing battle MOHAA or BT1942 and im askin peoples opinoin of who will be victor swordfight: swordfight:

Well i played Bf1942 and the graphics are nothing to brag about, the graphics look like there from a childs game. I hate there aiming system too i hit a guys in the head with a sniper bullet and he doesnt die? I have to hit him again to kill him. By the time i chamber another bullet he is in a tank coming after me. The game has to have alot of fixes before it even comes close to MOHAA. The only thing i like about the game is that u can drive tanks, plane, cars etc. But other than that it is far from the acheivement of MOHAA.

If it gets the netcode fixed, and the infantry weaponry/damage sorted, then it could well become superior to MOHAA.
The concept is fantastic, and if MOHAA were to include moving controllable vehicles then it would easily be one of the best MP games of all time.
As it stands, both BF1942 and RTCW are better mulitplayer games than MOHAA. zooka:

the weaponry/damage system is fine...i can take out people with a thompson quite easily from such a distance where zoom is nescessary, in about 7 bullets
you need to get used to bullet drift and also the fact that it takes time for your bullet to arrive on target.
