A couple of glitches in the newer maps (Buzzbomb, N. Trench) -
09-13-2002, 03:55 PM
I am not sure if any of these glitches have been posted yet, but lately, I have discovered a few. I have had help from Cloud Strife on DOA and he deserves most of the credit. I won't describe exactly how to do it, just wanted to let everyone know. I know there are more, these are just for the newer maps.
Buzz Bomb
-----------------------------
On Allies spawn area you can travel along the back wall and go behind the invisible wall that blocks you from going beyond the wagon. You can then get under the map, although you can't actually shoot anyone. On this map, you CAN get back up, which is cool.
Northern Trench
----------------------------
One of the tanks on the allied side is transparent, but players can't see you in the tank unless they walk through it. This give them quite an advantage, so watch out for it.
Routednord
---------------------------
You can actually find a couple of ways to climb the walls and roofs, and over those walls you can get under the map. Although, like BuzzBomb, you can't shoot people. You CAN"t get back up once you go under the map.

Thanks Hollywood. Some newer maps are out, hopefully will get them up as soon as XGS gets the control panel back.

In the updated Habortown. If you jump in the water it will kill EVERYONE. I think thats a LITTLE glitch that NEEDS to be taken care of.

Nope. I was playing it today on the aa.com server. Sparks was there too. Any time someone jumped into the water we all died.

Sounds fun akuma! zooka: M16: jump into water BOOM! everones dead. Its happened while playing, and theres no point to doing it, because noone loses lives.

Maj. Winters found a spot in Northern Trench on Allied side that you can slip under the map. And apparently you CAN kill ppl from their as he was able to shoot TIMMAY once with a handgun.
Winters also found a way for us to slip behind the invisible walls in Harbourtown, but the only advantage would be to die by falling. Or you can jump into safe water, but if you go too far you'll end up killing everyone with the actual river.

The everybody dying thing in Harbortown is annoying because every time someone finds out about it they feel the need to jump in the water several times to see it for themselves.
However, the bouncing storage tank on that map is really funny.

Yeah, you can get under the map in Trench. It's unfortunate since it is a very nice map overall.

Another issue in Harbortown is the ability to get behind the map on the Axis side. And it's gotten to be pretty unplayable because most people jump in the water just for kicks. Even those that have known about it for a while. Kinda annoying.

Timmay shouldn't have been surprised. I have played with him twice and both times he had no problem going under the map himself. The last time I shot him( he was axis) so he changed to the allies. In fact at least three POACC clan members were under there having a party I guess.

There is actually 2 tanks that you can hide in, the other is under the dead paratrooper. I must have missed it before. (Northern Trench).

its not a totally secret hideout is it? i believe that if you look carefully enough, probably with the help of a scope, you can see thier feet stick out from under the tanks where the theres a gap between the ground and the bottom of the tank.

In Chaos Streets, all the vechiles are "transparent", meaning you can just walk right through them. also, there's a way under the map, but you cannot shoot anyone.
There's a way under the map in Battle Field too, and you can shoot people.
