I was on aa.com and DOA, and I had a 200 ping on both servers. Chicken boo was there also, and he had the same problem. Then, all of a sudden the server timed out and everyone got kicked off. I checked later, at 12:00 am, and the KAOS server was dead. Was there a downed hop in our area because of the storm or something...is it fixed?

Had trouble with DOA's server, too. There were about 6 or 7 of us on when we all got the boot. When we returned our pings went crazy.
BTW, Hollywood, I couldn't find the Kaos server, so I didn't mean to leave you hanging.

Actually Boo the server was down for me, so I oculdn't get on anyway. I just went to bed because my ping was all screwed up. I wonder if it was the storm last night. oOo:

Don't know. I was on for a short bit and everything was fine. Both the aa.com and DOA servers are hosted by XGS. I believe Kaos might be going that route as well.
They have been working there butts off getting things back to normal after the move from Boston to DC. They could have been doing some pre-Maintainance
I'll check there web site tonight when I get home.
Oh, Hollywood code word " package sent" over.

I didn't realize that there were two servers. So that I may write both addresses down, could someone respond with them? Thanks.

Hey Shakes, The aa.com server is located at 66.151.108.123. DOA is at 66.151.108.102.
I didn't go onto the aa.com server last night either (10pm Eastern) because the ASE showed nobody was on. --I got kicked the first time I tried to get on DOA due to high ping, but got on the second attempt, no problem.

OFFICER BARBRADY: "You're probably wondering why we're standing here with a pile of money, and no pants on!"
PRINCIPLE: "Well, I can assure you it has nothing to do with the Japanese Mafia!"
OFFICER BARBRADY: "Not a thingy-dingy!!"

I was on aa.com last night from about 8:30 to 10:30 EST with some of you guys and it was working fine for me.
Judas , i know where you're at , I bought 1942 on Sunday and didn't put it in until Monday night .... Played the SP for a few hours , not much like MOH which surprised me a bit. Huge maps aren't they ... I can't seem to get the hang of driving and flying biggrin: . Not sure if I like it or not , so far I like MOH better and am awaiting "Spearhead" . But since I've paid $40 for 1942 I'll give it a chance and play some more and give the MP a try after I figure out how to operate everything , it is a bit confusing and a lot of keys to try to remember. angel:
