Default skill vs. luck - 09-28-2002, 03:08 PM

what do you think is more important skill or luck?

I am a skilled player yet on some days it seems that every corner I turn I either walk into a grenade or 3-4 guys with STGs, or I always get attacked from behind.

The I have other days when just about every nade I throw finds a kraut and I happen to jump enemies from behind a lot.

So what makes the bigest difference, skill or luck?

Gotta be a combination of both , sorry that doesn't really answer your question but all you can do is try to keep a watch behind you and peek around corners first , but that doesn't always work either. angel:

Well, I don't have to too much skill, but I do have luck. I mean, I usually find a sniper, sneak up and bash him, or get a guy in the head, or he has to reload...just crap like that. I usually end up 3:1 for kills:deaths...sometimes it's 1:3...but, it all depends on what gets put in your way, I think.
