Default So when is Spearhead coming out? - 09-29-2002, 10:35 PM

Now knowing EA they won't ever give out an exact on any of their products. With that said, I think there must be a more accurate date then Fall in general. Are there any rumors airbonre concerning when the Add-On is gonna hit the stores?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846

This item will be released on November 18, 2002. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.

of course the "collectors edition" will probably be out a few days earlier

i played the single player long before moh. it was pretty fun for its time. the mp / online part is pretty fun. i like the class system and the delayed respawn.

Actually, Amazon still has the old date posted. From what I last read at IGN.COM, they said late winter, sometime around early december to late december. The original date was November.

I bought RTCW a month ago. I think I've played it 3 times. :( Its just not as much fun as MOHAA. I like the single player though, its a good time.

Considering that the EA guys requested bug reports about 3 weeks ago and then again about a week ago probably means they are in the final stages of coding. Not sure how long it takes to go from a "gold CD" (final version for manufacturing) to the store shelves for a title like this, so I definately see it as at least delayed til first week of december.

They can't afford to miss the X-Mas shopping season, especially since they need to ride the wave of continuing popularity and sales MoHAA has had; judging from the top 10 selling games lists posted every once in awhile.

I'd rather they took hints from Blizzard and not release the game until they KNOW it's ready. For example, Blizzard pushed back the release of DiabloII by months so they could get it right, and man, they got it RIGHT!

I hope EA takes their time and releases a solid product.

lol, it's as if we just went back a year and we are talking about MoHAA coming out...

I'm a big MP fan myself, I've always thought that although you can have a great SP game, MP is what keeps it alive. Just look at CS and DoD for example, people (like myself) have gone out and bought Half-Life, a game that is four years old, just to be able to play these games that all the gamers, are still raving about. Now look at Max Payne, in my books this game is the best thrid person shooter out there. Yet nobody cares about it anymore...why? Because without the element of MP, it has nothing to keep it kicking among us gamers.

Now if you have been around long enough to know who I am, you'll remember me being worried that MP for MoHAA was going to be rushed, seeing that this time last year, there was still no information on the mode. When the game did come out, I was pleased to see the depth of the maps, and a soild mixture between realsim and arcade style gameplay. Now the maps were good, but as I was in a clan, the lack of objective maps was a major let down for me. People came out with custom maps, no doubt, but it just wasn't the same as the polished and well thought out maps that 2015 put out. Honestly I thought new mpas with come with a latter update, but after all we are dealing with EA, so no such luck.

What I'm trying to get at, is I would rather have EALA whip up an Add-on that could put some of the best MP games in their palce and create maps with a replay vaule that is through the roof, then some POS that I'm gonna get ried of in a month. EA in LA, take as long as captialists SOBs will let you, and do it right damn it!!!
