Just got this today for xbox was released last friday (woulda been out sooner but for some bs sony exclusivity deal). Graphics look very realistic, alot better than those found in the smackdown series or wrestlemania x8 for the cube.

Very fluid animations aside from the weird walking animation, high res character skins, high polygon models and excellent sound. cool:

in North America, WWE Raw was released a awile ago and it was lacking alot of modes and even lacking a Story Mode....I believe WWE Raw 2 was supposed to add what most people liked most about the games

Anyways, all next generation first wrestling games have sucks, but Smackdown 4 and WWE Raw 2 look promising.

Yeah i think that was mainly beacuse of microsoft maing them rush the game to market. The actual gameplay of the game is good and it can only get better with raw2. I never really liked the smackdown series though, just too fast moving and arcadey.

I don't have an Xbox, and I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I do like the games. I downloaded the PC demo, and it is amazing, although the controls bite big arse.

O course theres a storyline behind it. People only watch it because its like a tv serial, each week can bring new things into a storyline. If it was simply grunt a beats grunt b week in and out with no story people wouldn't watch it.
