all these posts saying "get dsl, get cable", please try to remember some people cannot get broadband at all. Its not like they can just pick up the phone and say install it.... Its not always a money...

If you install a poster pack to a server, will everyone that joins the server see the images or do they have to install them on thier computer also?

Dialup here too, good advice up there, stick to dedicated servers with less than 10 players if you can. Get one of the "puff" mods so you can see if your hitting or not, highpingers need to confirm...

I'd like to see one with lots of allied tanks...

I'd like to see one with lots of allied tanks approaching a town held by the axis forces. The tanks would be shelling the town and the artillery from the town would be raining down around the tanks....

Thx Quik, Sat is good for fast downloads once they are started but not for online gaming. The latentcy (lag) is too high, I understand sat adds at least 400 to your normal ping. No good for gaming.
