it prevents a conflict with the game that prevents you from destroying the tiger with the flak88. until it is determined which mods that cause the conflict, the easiest way is to move all mods temporarily.
you don't have to move all mods, i found that taking out the farmhouse map fixs it, the ya can blow the tank, thats the only mod i took out , cool: also heard dasboot causes problems, but i didn't have that map
eek: Im having the same friggin problem...its soooooo annoying...but let me try taking out my mods..ive lost knowledge of whats what..im gonna have to clean my stuff out fire2:
What I did was take out all my maps and mods, and put made a special folder for quick safe keeping. Then I proceded in the game, beat the tank, and put all the mods back in.
Some maps include modified tik files. So if you have a map with a new .tik file for the 88mm or the tiger you will face some probs in SP, too!
Unfortunately they are "hidden" within the map.pk3 itself and not sent in addition to the map.
If you know how to look into a pk3 (pakscape program etc.) then you can scan your custom maps by yourself and see which one might cause the conflict!
If you´re new then probably you have no mod -> a custom modification yet installed to it.
So you shouldn´t have a prob with your Single Play. DLing and installing a custom map can cause a conflict, if it has a modified .tik file in it, which shouldn´t be included directly into a map file!
Usually custom .pk3s are named User-xxxxx.pk3 (xxxxx is for the mod name) so it´s easier to find them in your main folder.
The regular files are named pak0.pk3, pak1.pk3 and so on. Never modify or delete anything from these files.
Custom mods replace one or more files from the original game, when installed. To have the old FX simply delete the mod you´ve installed before.
