By the may, the SDK is needed so that modders can fix mem leaks, bugs, map holes, new patches that fixes bugs etc etc. You'll have to wait for xmas 2003 if you want EA to patch it. Expect Exp.Pack yet again....[/quote:79efd]

who specifically has put their hand up to take over EAs job patching this game for these things?

im not asking what is possible with the SDK i am asking who needs it for what. like i said i still know of only one group of people who would be using it today if it was out.
