Default allies scope not working - 12-12-2002, 11:07 PM

i made an allied scope and saved it to user-crap.pk3 but after all that it still wouldnt work in the game, i read a lot of tutorials and did everything they say, then after saving it says that it will work, but it never works for me and just stays with the default scope. I have no other custom scopes on there

check you have the correct path inside the PK3.
like just putting a scope TGA in there won work it has to be in a full path like \weapons\hud\zoomoverlay.tga (not correct but you get the idea)

easiest way to check is download someone elses of aa.com and check nside it to see the correct directory structure.

if it doesnt work at all and ur confident you did everything right just extract it into /main/textures/hud/
to make sure it works at all
