DAMN i forgot about all those sub movies....well here is a WEIRD "war?" movie....dunno if you kids have ever seen it,but Iknow us older folks have...lol
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN....now THAT is action...In NO way historically correct,but damn fun watching...

Best for me and most realistic, not necessarily historically accurate but showing the horrors of war:

Saving Private Ryan
Thin Red Line
Platoon
Hamburger Hill
The Longest Day

I'd probably put Band of Brothers in there too, but seeing it hasnt been on in Australia yet I cant really say. I'm sure it would be up there though.
