Tech help: Cd rom drives missing?

Xorcist [USA] is Offline Corporal Posts: 980 Join Date: Jul 2002 Location: Auburn Hills, MI	01-26-2003, 03:07 PM what os are u using? i had this similiar problem before. what i did was start/control panel/system/hardware/device manager/dvd/cd-rom drives i right clicked on cd drives and removed the drives under properties. then i rebooted and windows picked them up. if you are using xp it is possible to do a system restore to a point where your drives worked properly. hope this helps.
