Well, what should I call him? He's stupid. Hell, it's just common sense to turn on the safety when you put a laoded gun in your trousers. I'm not making a generalization Mad, in fact 8 out of 10 people are not too bright.

Where u got the idea a lugEr (not lugar) was an excellent gun (pistol) ill never guess. It was a piece of shit due to its toggle actions unreliability in field conditions. The popularity comes from its unique (not revolutionary) design, which u will notice was rarely copied or developed upon.

In addition the reason lugers went off unpredictably had nada to do with safetys or triggers. The toggle action of it would make downward pressure on the top of the pistol drive the action forward, a sharp enough blow to the top and it went off. Out of adjustment? Debris? It could go off very easily since there was nothing that prevented outside forces from acting on the action.

Luger sounds like a really really shitty gun. i don't wanna carry anything around that could go off at any time and kill me!
