Default Multiple Shell-Eject from Springfield in Spearhead. - 04-01-2003, 01:55 AM

I have posted this problem before, but not in a thread like I am now. I have no altering .pk3 files in my /mainta directory that would cause this. When I rechamber after I have fired a shot with the Springfield, I get 5 to 10 shells ejecting versus the normal 1 shell. Here is a picture of what I mean. If anyone would know why it is doing this, even in a stock game with version 2.15, please let me know. Its getting ridiculous to see that many shells ejecting with 1 rechamber. Thanks.

Wouldn't we just all love it if it had been fixed with the release?

Think everyone gets that, have you tried replacing the sh skc and skd files with the moh skc and skd's for the 03?

No I haven't, but that was untouched in SH. I was thinking that maybe it was the way the animations in the .tiki file were referenced. I have talked to other folks and most say they never have this problem. Just odd thats all.

I get it a lot too, not every shot but frequently enough. I know that spearhead has new shell models as the ones in moh were the hexagonal shells from quake 3 so maybe thats something to do with it.

Well, I just checked and the .tiki files are identical in both AA and SH. Maybe I should just edit the bullcount to be 0 and be done with the satan shells. lol

I personally wouldn't mind if my game had that error in it, it looks kinda cool if loads of empty shells fly out of a gun for no reason oOo:

Only happens when the bolt cycle animation is triggered. For me it happens every now and again but ive heard some say it does it constantly.

Well, I adjusted the bulletcount to 0 and now the problem has vanished, yet it still ejects the normal 1 with the rechamber so now it looks normal. If anyone has this problem, let me know and I'll tell you what to edit to fix it. Thanks for your help.
