I moved to Vienna when I was 18 in order to study art, which was my passion; although I wasn't allowed into the academy there because they said my painting wasn't good enough. When I became Fuhrer in 1933 I ordered myself to appear in thousands of paintings which aimed to convince people that I was destined to lead them through their lives and even to their deaths.
