First off...poles are Catholics , Second....what do you mean poles didn't trust jews?

If you think you're getting desegregation TOTALLY in this lifetime - you're dreaming. Some of these racial issues are EONS old and aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Having said that - it's a private party, and these kids are free to do whatever they want with their money. It's a shame and I hope their names dont get out but hey....I'm glad I dont live there.

And there aren't that many European countries that have presidents at all.
Mostly the ones that do are usually former east block countries (poor countries) which also means that they have like less then 1% of imigrants as well, much less black imigrants.

Jesus Christ thats sad. I do care if it is a free county they should have the right to do that. And what was that about a Black Class President and a White Class President? I know the school would be incharge of the student goverment, which makes it a Fedural Issue. Please excuse me while I write my local congressmen.

Ed is right. There has been ethnocentrism since the day man found another group of men wandering the lands. The Isreal and Palestine will never live in peace, chechnyians wont stop until they are broken off from Russia and Im sad to say Blacks will never be accepted by some southerns.

if you know your history you would know that most catholics were fearful that the Ukranians would side with the Nazis and the Jews with the communists if an attack were to happen.

I saw a program a while back talking about this situation of a school having a white and black Prom, it might have been this particular school. What both races said was they wanted it that way because they both had different music interests, social interests, personality interests, and hell, just about different everything. Not that everybody did, but both races said most felt that way about it. The case I saw neither race said the opposite race couldn't come, just the theme, music, culture would be suited to match that race's general interests. At any rate it is stupid and I'm sad to say it's in the south. Segregation does not exist in the south like some of you may think.

I'm not a history expert, so no, I didn't know that.
And I guess in a way the poles were right about thinking that jews (defenetly not all) would side with the communists because look what happend. 90% of polish/jewish political figures during the communist occupation of poland were/are jews, so go figure. The poles actually did have a good reason not to completely trust them.
