The "fun" of war ends the second a bullet fired in anger zips past your head.

Those who love war and enjoy killing usually make the worst soldiers....no concept of authority.

Your post has inspired me. I didn't know that Omaha beach was untouched. Wow. I gotta go. When I played that level I was amazed that anyone could have survived that much gunfire and explosions. It was mostly by chance who died and who did not. Anyway, I have to hand it to them. Those who lived and died there deserve our respect. Someone had to fight so that we could live as we do. I owe them for that.

so RICKETS , you think a job in the army will be fun???think of all you will give up!!!take it you like computers right, and films etc.sure you may get to use/see them, but not as much.you also say you have never got close to anybody, how would you feel when the person you get close to gets wasted on the battlefield, what would you do if it was your fault???just because your family served in WW1 etc. does it mean you have to follow them?hope you see sense man.

The better question is, how old are you?

Judging by your sentence structure and very primitive grammatical skills, I'm assuming 13 or 14.

I just told you why dropping the atomic bombs on Japan was a good thing. Why won't your read my posts again.

However, I will say this again: if we would've invaded Japan, millions of lives would've been lost. At least 500,000 U.S. casualties, and many times that for the Japanese.

The atomic bombs only claimed a little over 100,000 lives. Plus, it got the war over with a lot quicker, which obviously helped the rest of the world, especially Western Europe, with the bad shape many of those countries were in.

I was just wondering...
In the movie Saving Private Ryan once the troops broke over the shingle they appeared to go over the dune where the Gun emplacements were and then fight the Nazis,
(I won't say Germans cos germans are beautiful people)in the trenches at the back.
But in MOHAA they all swooped into the trench leading into the bunker that goes up to the Pillboxes...
Which one was more right?
Did they go OVER like in SPR or
UNDER and UP like MOHAA...
