[quote="Low spark":e6930]I am very anti gun, but I have a nephew who is in the NRA. He owns a an semi-automatic AK-47 and several rifles, and pistols. Even though I personally will not allow firearms in my house, I am letting my nephew teach my daughters gun safety. You never know.[/quote:e6930]
I respect that Low spark, I also respect you wanting to teach your children about gun safety.

When My kids do go to the rang. We only shoot when we are alone. This way I can keep an eye on them at all times.

mikesnacki, I live in RI we are not allowed to own full auto fire arms

All my firearms are semi auto. You will be happy to know you can own a semi auto Thompson and MP5 ( They call it a H&K SP89 )
Here is a picture of my collection including both firearms you desire mikesnakci,

My sp89 has the included HK laser site and makes a very nice home defense weapon. This thing is very accurate. I was hitting a metal reactive target 8" in diameter at over 50 yards with it. constantly.

The only problem, an SP89 in good condition will cost you over $4000.00

national forests are good gun ranges  but i guess they don't count as free since you pay to get in. my grandma used to own some property up in the mountains that included a good size meadow, good times.

Tell your kids to lean back and forth when they shoot. It makes them harder to hit.

In my neighbourhood, like all the cresants around Massey Street, I believe no one knows what a gun looks like outside the tv or a videogame

I have never fired a real gun ( paintball I have and stuff, illegal potatoe guns and so on) Being that my dad won;t teach me shit about guns or the two rifles hanging up on the walls downstairs with me

My Dad and his brother/uncle Doug when they were kids when you were allowed to ride snowmobiles anywhere ya want when there were barely any houses.......and his old house was huge too, damn, well they went hunting alot and shit, My guess is he doens't want me knowing how to use a gun or something.....I hope he doesn't expect my big body and huge rippling muscles to keep myself safe (......that just sounds funny to me), well around here it is really peaceful and I haven't known anything of a break in EVER in any house around here

So I guess times are easier now around where I am

Sorry, Rude but I have to say on thing... or mabye two. I like play game like MOH, yes it involves guns. But in real life i've known way to many people that have been killed, accidental, sucides, and murdered with firearms,
So it's difficult for me to understand want to own a gun. My nephew and I have spent many hours discussing our stance on guns and gun control. I would like to believe that my nephew will allways be responsible with his guns and never use them in anger. But there are to many people out there that use guns and do not care what harm they do other.

Sorry again, I get this way when hear people saying how cool it would be to have this gun or that gun like they are some kind of toy.

The only thing I have fired is a B-B gun. I think it would be real fun, just for a 1-timer to fire some WW2 weapons. Maybe when I get older I could look around for some WW2 reenactment divisions. I've heard those are really fun. Haha, Rude, that's pretty cool you let your daughters do that. When I grow up, I probably won't have enough money to buy a gun. By then they will probably be banned totally or something.
