I second 28 days later, DAMN fine movie, and for all i've seen of the horror and zombie flicks, it stands millions of miles above the rest of the field (bar only maybe shaun of the dead) for just real raw human experiences during a zombie invasion. FUCK George Romero and...well, thats going off on too much of a flaming war, which i should start somewhere else...but yeah, 28 days later is THE best zombie movie out there, with the possible exception of Shaun of the Dead.

My recommendation:

Six String Samurai
[url:ff961]http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118736/[/url:ff961]

Its...it is, potentially, one of the WORST good movies ever made. Made on a budget of less than 50,000 , over the course of 2 weeks, the entire films audio track was lost and had to be COMPLETELY redubbed. The ending was changed a week before the films release because the director thought it was too cheerful. It is a huge mess of a film, (but not like Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter, as you could at least actually watch this, and bear the acting and writing)

Long story short, a Samurai trained guitarist in post-apocalyptic Earth travels America to reach Vegas, the last free city, where a competition for Elvis, ruler of the World, is being held.

Just...i cant even describe to you how much you need to see this movie. It puts every other action movie and every other cheesy action line to shame. Its, essentially, so bad its amazing, and when the action lines and action itself get delivered, you fucking CHEER, because you see something so good being delivered in something you think is so low budget...i...i cant describe it. Watch it.

Hardball

I just watched this movie on TBS just now, I've seen it before but, still, its a great movie.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0180734/

The movie info: A sports junkie (Reeves) agrees to coach a little league baseball team in Chicago to pay off his gambling debts. The movie is based on the book by Daniel Coyle.

Sounds a little weak there, but its a very moving story.

LOL Albs....Although technically, "TECHNICALLY," 28 Days Later isn't a Zombie flick as they aren't the undead - They just infected with RAGE.

Romero > All

I saw the special screening last night of the movie Bewitched, well let me just tell you, it was great! It was about making the remake of the show.

Will Ferrel was just great! I always thought of him as being hillarious, like he has his own style. SPOILER:::::: He apears naked like in Old School, but they do frontal. It's pixalet so you don't see his package. In this scene I laughed so hard I though I was gona faint, cause it appeared out of nowhere ... I felt like I was high and laughing so hard.

Nicole Kidman was also great, I thought she played the part like the original. And I also thing she's gorgeous, I would not mind getting a piece of that.

It was just a fun movie, something for like family nigh.

The only problem I hd was that the theater was runned by jearks, or racist. I was there with my sister who is 15 and a little brother who is 3 ... well he wasn't so comfortable so he was on his seat jumping and saying my name and laughing at the movie, well some lady that worked there came up and told me that I needed to take my "son" down or outside, well i just gave her the f**king dirtiest look, like if i was gona donkey punch her and rape her analy. She felt really weird and like ran downstairs and got one of those rent-a-cops ... and the guy was standing around us like ready to give us a ticket or something.

I found [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0292886/:da99f]800 Bullets[/url:da99f] very enjoyable. If you don't speak Spanish ... learn.

I saw Layer Cake like 2 weeks ago and it was quite awesome. I liked the dialouge and the story was really well made. Overall a very awesome movie. I also liked seeing Colm Meaney in something other then the engine room of a Starship.

This week I would reccomend watching Rescue Me on FX channel. Really a just well done series. Very authentic and honestly good acting from the whole cast and , surprsignly, Denis Leary. Considering he made the show and such, his charecter was tailor made to him.
