Greenish brown if I remember correctly.

My first run through I never once used the BFG against the Hellknights or Arch Viles because I was saving them for the final boss... and it turns out that you only needed like 12 shotgun shells to beat him...

What about Super Mario, that was a great movie. And the Final Fantasy movie, and the Resident Evil movie.

Nah, that was actually going to be the Archvile, but somehow he got axed, but I remember being at the PlanetDoom forums back around this date in July, right before Doom 3 was going to be released, and everyone referred to it as the Birdman (SKIPPLE-SKAPP-900!!!), and supposedly supposed to have a flamethrower. I dunno if I can find the link...some web-page was entirely dedicated to the history of Doom 3 monsters.

Super Mario and Resident Evil both sucked and FF had nothing to do with the games.

Nope that was the original hellknight model, says so in the book "the making of doom 3".

Its allright yeah, its paperback, comes with a load of shit on the story what got removed etc, lot of technical stuff with carmack in it as well. Shows how they did the models and what they did to make them apear really detailed while being low poly.
