Here's my general outline:

Header:
Name (large) at top. Next line (small) contact info

Profile:
Short, 2-3 line overview of your skeelz

Skills/Experience:
Bulleted list of relevant skills. Relevant being the key word. If you're applying for a job at a bakery, there's no need to list "weapons handling and explosives" training

Education:
Go back as far as high school

Work Experience:
List the last 3-4 jobs you've had, but try not to go back too far, unless it's super-relevant to the job you're applying for.


Keep it under 2 pages and don't bother listing hobbies or that "References are available upon request".
