how's the food? Is the cultural food good/expensive? How about McDonald's? How much does that stuff cost ya over there?
When I went to Denmark it cost like $8.50 for a burger, fries, and drink (half of it is b/c it's better quality food but a lot was tax too).

food here is pretty good if you are willing to try new stuff
we usually eat at our hotel's restaurant, they serve a lot of different stuff, by now we have tried all they have to offer, the food here is nothing like american chinese food like general tsao's or whatever, a lot of the food you have to work around in your mouth and spit out bones or exoskeletons, which i really dont go for
we have been to szechuan, a place for dumplings in a city famous for them, and this awesome place for mongolian pot where you cook your own food in a big pot, it was awesome and very tasty
they have kfc and mcd's here, both are better than the us, but still disgusting and very different, i prefer kfc select for that type of shit. i actually just tried a mcd's here, i got a chicken sandwich, and the bun was made out of fuckin pressed rice and not bread, it was too strange and hard to hold to be good, but the fried tasted the same, i paid about $2-3 for any of this shit
you can get a damn good traditional chinese meal with plenty of food and variety for under 15 or 20 depending on what you want
i miss my philly cheesesteaks and hoagies and pasta a lot tho
