Looking good, just hope its not a direct dumbed down for console pc port over that we get. And heres hoping the multi on the pc requires more than just spamming grenades like call of duty 2.

What I saw at IW over the summer was very impressive. Not only the game play but what they have done with the Q3 engine.

I really wish they would release a video of a lighting and environmental demo they showed us in real time.

While I have tremendous respect for the IW devs now (after spending the day with them) they "get it".

However with all that said, and a SP only demo coming out, I have to say "WTF". If anything EA and Airborne taught us :

If a dev does not release any info and or a demo on the platform (sp/mp not gaming) we are interested in, wait before preordering or purchasing.

Iw though had more than their fair share of criticisms with cod 2, that game was heavily consolised and the initial patch took ages in coming out.

Suprised theyre still using a modded quake 3 engine for this though, thought they would have moved on to something else like UE3 by now.

Wait to you see what they've done with with the old engine.

funny, IW does not like talking about CoD2, which they where forced to make, as they wanted to do, what now is known as CoD4.

don't even mention CoD3 in front of grant or the rest of the dev team. Lets just say they don't care too much for that game.
