After playing airborne it did feel a bit restricted i thought. You're funnelled down the same path everytime with the same scripted sequences every time. That guy jumping out in the stairway for example, its a nice touch but after seeing it once you know exactly what to expect next time.

Its nice to see they have ragdoll and more moveable objects in the environment though, cod2 felt very static in that respect. I hope for multi that the guns have more recoil than the sp, if not theres not gonna be much need for sniper rifles. Seen some people already comparing it to serious sam with the massive horde of enemies that comes at you in that level.

Suprising to think this is the same modified quake 3 engine though. Just hope that because of the engine its not open to the same bs wallhacks etc that cod2 was.

A multiplayer demo would probably have been a better demo type to release, right now im not bowled over by the sp but the multi could be good.

Demo was alright. Looked good. It is short, but the main problem I have is with weapon recoil and accuracy. Just seems too easy. And every shot sounds kind of insignificant. A little thud. Nothing more. Beef it up a bit.

Now that I think about it more, it feels more like every other CoD game i've played. Gerv is right. It's very linear. I thought we were supposed to be getting away from those types of scripted games.

I'll buy it, but it'll probably end up like Airborne. Played it through once and haven't touched it since because it's the same every time you go through it. Hopefully MP has something to offer, but i'm not a huge MP guy. I prefer SP to tell you the truth.
