The text before autoswitch can be done, I'll see if I can get it in the next beta however I'm trying to limit "feature creep" otherwise it'll never be released hehe.

As far as I know the code is based on QuakeC and C++.

Unfortunately that is not possible via internal scripting, because of the way the engine itself loads the definition files from the client with no cheat detection. EA should take care of most if not all of these pak cheats in Spearhead.

Point me in the direction to some tutorials on QuakeC and I'll see if I can't do this for you. Would give me a chance to get to know the inner workings of the game so I can customize more of my server. evil:

BTW, I noticed while I was editing the config that it says 1.6 beta at the top... Am I running an older version then I thought, or did you forget to update this with this release? Maybe I should download again and see if there's a diff. angel:

I'm not home right now or I'd give ya a few good links, I'll edit this msg later and put em here. I wouldn't advise using the DMz script as a learning tool for the basics, stick with the default MP scripts and the info in the links, and then more to the SP scripts and then more advanced stuff like DMz or Scorpio's work. My code is a nightmare of nested statements and laid out very badly (I'm doing major cleaning for 1.8), plus I've got some advanced script tricks in there that can bring a server to it's knees if not used properly.

That's probably just my error, I did have a version up for about an hour tho that I forgot to add some descriptive text to, so it may be an earlier version or in both versions. Nothing functionally different between the two tho.
