ok, n00b question, as usual -

We run a linux dedicated rack, and yes we run MOHaa there, the linux server client.
I downloaded a number of the custom maps, and foolowed the instructions, ie. "Simply put them in the /main directory", which, of course, I faithfully did.
Obviously, since I didnt update the ffa.cfg files, they didnt roate. WHen I added one to the rotation list in the ffa.cfg, it died, saying it could not located the map.
What path is used in the rotation line, when the map resides in the /main directory ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated, the old maps are great stuff, but something new is always interesting, too .
well, cause the insturctions for the linux server said to...
so they DO require the /dm path in the maplist command?
The infor tells one to set the game type, and then set one of the statements ;
exec team.cfg
exec obj.cfg
exec ffa.cfg
these are smaller subsets of the config file, that set specific game settings, I presume (it's where we placed our mods for weapsons, skins, speeds and such)
What I mean is that ffa.cfg, and the others are seperate config files in the /main directory.
When I did add them to the map list, it failed, saying it could not find the map. And yes, it's(custom map PK3 files) under the /main directory, not /dm
