i'm messing around with milkshape3d (actually gonna try and model weapons...) and i took an sdk of a weapon so i can see how it looks in ms3d and i messed around with it and saved it. it now has a file extension of .ms3d but i wanna save it as .sdk which i can't. can anyone help?

first of all its skd. second, u must get lightray to import and export mohaa weapons and animations. milkshape can import skd files and skb, but not skc and cannot export skc or skd. an skb file has no bones so u cant use it as a weapon. http://www.sxcreations.com is the lightray3d site

damn. sounds like i'm using the worse of the worse as far as modeling goes. should i be using 3dsmax for weapon modeling or is there something easier.

doesnt matter if it has a mohaa support or not. just make the models from scratch and import into lightray
