Man, there's so much I can say.
First off, you will probably be hazed by the seniors in the dorm. My advice: GO ALONG WITH IT! If you don't be a good sport they will turn on you and make you do worse shit. If you're cool, they'll go easier on you.
Take these essential items (if permissable by your dorm):
- Microwave
- Coffee maker
- Extra set of sheets
- Bathrobe and flip-flops (or some sort of waterproof footwear for the shower)
- An oscillating fan
- A small television and DVD player
- Computer and lotsa of extra CD-R/DVD-R
- A lighter, even if you don't smoke
- A small bar fridge
- Posters and shit to decorate your room
- A padlock/combination lock
- A string/cord/carabiner to attach your keys to. I always had mine on a shoelace around my neck. Otherwise, you WILL lock yourself out.
- Condoms (duh)
- A foam sleeve to fit a beer bottle/can
I'll probably think of more.

WTF? I don't know anybody who stays in a dorm past their freshman year.
I stayed in a tiny ass dorm room my fresh. year. My roommate was cool, and we're good friends to this day, so I got lucky there. There were a few wigger faggots on my hall, but most of them got kicked out before the year was over for doing stupid shit. Some guy killed himself on my floor too. leet. oOo:

Im staying in the dorms until I graduate. I love my room. Anyways. Bring a comfy chair, tv, computer, and alcohol. no need for a sheets the floor is just as comfortable as your bed when you are drunk.
