Default Then suddenly: WARNING: ... !!! - 09-01-2002, 03:32 PM

Loaded a custommap (unavailable!) after serverstart.
Then in the consolewindow: WARNING: had to sanitize the name for client 0

(Line open; No admin soft.)

What does it mean?

Tell us a little more about this map

Is this new map, a map a server has and your trying to play it?
Are you setting up your own server with custom maps?

Make sure your placing the new_map.pk3 file in your main directory. Also make sure you unzip it b4 placing it in this dir. You will also need to restart MOH b4 a new map will take effect.

Give us some more info and we can help

Weird. Dumb question, but did you try putting the maps name in lowercase? Is it already? It sounds like it is trying to force the name of the map to something else in order for others to use it. But I'm 1/2 drunk, I may just be blabbering. oOo:

Have you tried to follow the instructions listed in the error message?

[quote:badff]Add the following line to the *_precache.scr map script:

You may want to try and post this over at
http://www.dafront.com/~nemesis/

They have a message board about mapping for MOH

good luck
