without using the console command the max you could get no matter how fast of a connection you have would be 99. the console command just unlocks this. from there the sky is the limit.

it cant be a corrupt file. only ways to get it is to get it in a download for another file, or if you purposly had it setup for no fog. check maps or skins that you have downloaded for a .cfg file....

it might be in a file that you downloaded. someone could have slipped it in on purpose. check your downloaded files for any .cfg files and check those. that is most likely you and your friends'...

i have a similar setup as you do and i am using a command i heard about com_maxfps 250. i am able to get the fps up to 130 but it rarely does. usually around 60 to 90.
